Mr. French Comes to Town
Spent a wonderful Memorial Day wandering around Four Corners with good friend Bill French, down for the day from Boston. Nora's starting her introduction to the greater Kabeyun community this week, with more visits on the horizon in advance of her first trip to New Hampshire.

We've been delinquent/lazy about keeping up the picture posting. Living has gotten in the way of documenting. But all of a sudden, it would appear that she'll give you an honest-to-goodness smile if you do something as incredible as open your mouth really wide right in front of her face. Who wouldn't smile at that? So we thought, well, that's definitely worth noting in the grand scheme of development.

... When she stopped pooping for a day or so, we got so wound up and nervous and wished so hard that she'd poop again, that she now poops, on average, eight times a day or more. We learned to be careful what we wish for. There's more, but nothing more remarkable than that. We'll try and be better about making regular additions here from now on.

Lucky for Nora, she's got a couple of grandparents happy to come down for the day and hang, let her sleep on them, etc. Lucky for me, too.

And lucky for all of us, Mom came home before the bottles ran out. Bottles of milk, that is....
