I Dig My Ergo
Right now, nothing makes her happier than spending some quality time in the Ergo. Whether she wants to sleep or just hang out, doesn't make much difference. Sitting or trying to crawl takes a lot of work and leads pretty quickly in to frustration, lying on her back is boring and old hat, so strapping in is our newfound nirvana. We also discovered that the camera has a "high angle" setting on the LCD screen, so one can point it almost directly back on oneself and still frame the shot. That means that the wearer can also be the photographer, which gives us something new to do when Mom is out and about and Dad needs something to distract the kid from his obvious lack of breasts.
More Sitting and Playing
More progress on the sitting up thing, now playing and slamming whatever's in her hands about willy nilly. The video proves that, as interesting as we might be, and even with a neato light-up toy in her hands, the tag of the boppy trumps all when it comes to her interest.
Sitting Up
Photographic proof at last! "I'll sit up just long enough to prove I can do it, then I'm going to nosedive towards whatever looks interesting. Especially if it's sitting on the hardwood floor - that's the best."
Teeth
This isn't recent, but it's the first clear proof of those first two chompers on the lower gum. We're going to start posting these a little smaller, but you can click the picture to bring it up all big and brilliant.
Swinging!
Visiting with Brett, Kim, and two-month-old Lucy Anna on the way home from New Hampshire, and they have some kind of fun toy. AND, we've finally figured out how to post video here on the site, down below. Yee-haw!
